Carlisle & District Music & Drama Festival is delighted to offer a choral Workshop led by Steven Roberts.
Date: Friday, 6th February 2026, from 9.15am – 11.45am
Location: St Aidans Church, Warwick Road, Carlisle
An opportunity to enjoy a shared experience of mass choral singing.
The session will be led by Steven Roberts, well known for his expertise in choral tradition and his splendid adjudications at our festival.
Steven will offer 3 or 4 songs for students to work on together during the morning: schools are not expected to learn the songs in advance. He will build on existing skills and offer ways to further enhance choral performances.
Steven has vast experience of running singing workshops and has successfully combined a career in education whilst working as a conductor, musical director and adjudicator, both at home and abroad.
He is conductor of Altrincham Choral Society, Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir and Honley Male Voice Choir
