The J W Bowman Memorial Scholarship to the value of £100 will be awarded

to the most promising young singer in any of the classes 15, 16 and 23 - 27.

The winner will receive a medallion and a grant for further singing tuition.

The Joe Wallace Memorial Salver will be presented in the closing

ceremony to the winner with the highest mark in classes 21 and 26.

The winners of classes 15, 16, 21, 25, 26 and 27a will compete for 

The Cumberland News Trophy on Saturday afternoon.

The winners of classes 13, 13a, 10, 12 and 14 will compete for the Sam Bellingham Memorial Trophy on Saturday afternoon
