Venue

The 2012 Festival will be held in 3 venues all within Carlisle City Centre

St Cuthbert's Church, Carlisle (behind House of Fraser) (Disabled Access)

The Resources Centre, West Walls (Behind St Cuthbert's Church accessed by a few steps or from West Walls on even ground)

The Fratry at Carlisle Cathedral, Carlisle (Steep steps and no wheelchair access)

Parking

Parking is available at the West Walls car park, which is pay and display.  Please note, there are a number of steps to climb up from this car park.  There is also parking underneath the Tesco's store and a large multistorey car park with good facilities for the disabled over The Lanes Shopping Centre.

Refreshments

Refreshments and toilets are available at the beautiful, medieval Tithe Barn.  This historic building is staffed entirely by volunteers during the week of the Festival, and all money raised is put into Festival funds.  A range of the usual hot beverages, home baking, fresh soup and light meals are available.

Disabled Access

Disabled access into St Cuthbert's is available via a ramp. There are disabled toilet facilities in The Tithe Barn (best to access this from the West Walls end). Due to the steep steps at The Fratry, Carlisle Cathedral,  wheelchair access is not possible.
