HOW TO ENTER
Complete the entry form(s) from the website, which may be photocopied if required and enclose:
1. The correct fee. Cheques/Postal Orders should be made payable to "Carlisle & District Music & Drama Festival"
2. A copy of the music if you require the Accompanist PLEASE DO NOT SEND PHOTOCOPIED MUSIC UNLESS THE CONCESSION ON THE GENERAL REGULATIONS PAGE APPLIES.
3. A stamped addressed envelope for your receipt and timetable.
Send completed MUSIC entry forms, fees and the above by 15th January 2010 to
Mr A Peacock, c/o Beech House, Durdar, Carlisle, CA5 7LJ.
Send completed SPEECH AND DRAMA entry forms, fees and the above by 15th January 2010 to
Mrs K Lishman, Thackmoor Nook, Renwick, Penrith CA10 1JT.
NOTES FOR COMPETITORS
1. Competitors entering "Own Choice" music classes who require the Official Accompanist MUST enclose a copy of the music with the entry form. Entries will not be accepted from competitors who do not comply with this request. Please also ensure that the item has been weighed and correct postage attached, otherwise Royal Mail will not deliver. Entries will not be acknowledged at the time of arrival. Timetables and receipts will be sent out in February.
2. Please note that some competitors, for whatever reason, withdraw from the Festival without prior warning. This causes disappointment to the audience and is a major concern to the Accompanists who waste time preparing music which is not required. PLEASE INFORM THE SECRETARY IF YOU WILL NOT BE COMPETING. Your co-operation in this would be greatly appreciated.
3. Please note that ENTRY FEES are printed on the right hand side of the schedule adjacent to the relevant class.
4. Entry Forms are available via the "Music Downloads" or "Speech Downloads" options on this wesite. Unfortunately we are unable to accept entries on-line.
